From our Chicago headquarters, we operate a network of 11 steel processing centers throughout the U.S. and Mexico that provide value-added processing of hot rolled, pickled, cold rolled and coated sheet products to manufacturers and producers.
Job Description:
- Various administrative knowledge in the following areas: plant, equipment, union contract implementation, types of steel products, directing personnel, ASTM standards and ISO requirements.
- Managing all aspects as it relates to the quality of the products and services provided.
- Maintaining the Feralloy Quality System as it relates to vendors, internal personnel, internal controls and customers.
- Manage NPA's for the company at an established level.
- Maintain all documents necessary as it relates to the ISO standards.
- Lead and represent the company during ISO audits and customer relations.
- Manage all aspects of quality control such as calibration programs, audits, PPAP's, gage R&R's, internal audits, management reviews, vendor performance.
- Conduct annual reviews of safety policies to fall in line with Reliance guidelines.
- Safety meetings to be conducted on a monthly basis.
Requirements:
- Must be dependable and reliable with good attention to detail.
- Experience in computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, AS400, Salesforce, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, problem solving, analytical and technical skills.
- Work independently; be able to use discretion and independent judgement without immediate direction or supervision.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
